Friedel Drees is a Managing Director and Head of Germany within ICG’s European Corporate strategy. Prior to joining ICG, he worked as a partner at the Carlyle Group, where he focused on transactions in the DACH region. Friedel started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company.
Friedel earned a master's degree and a Ph.D. in finance from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. As a participant of the university's double degree program with the University of Pittsburgh, he received his M.B.A. from the Katz Graduate School of Business.
