Gerrit is a Frankfurt based Partner. He is the Global Client Service Partner for Advent International, a global Private Equity client, and he is part of the European and Global Private Equity leadership team of EY. From July 2019 until June 2024, he was the EMEIA Private Equity Leader of EY overseeing and coordinating all activities with large PE clients and their portfolio companies across all Service Lines. Gerrit joined EY in 2014 after a 20 year career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers in London and Frankfurt, most recently at MS as a Managing Director in the European Financial
Sponsors Group in London. He graduated from the European Business School (EBS), Germany, with a degree as Diplom-Kaufmann.
