Miguel Berger is the German Ambassador to the United Kingdom. One of his major stages since starting to work at the Foreign Ministry in 1990 was his position as Head of the representative office in the Palestinian Territories. From 2010 to 2012 he was Deputy Head at the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations and member of the United Nations Security Council in 2011 and 2012. Before becoming the German Ambassador, he was State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin.
